Privacy Policy
- This privacy policy by Searche, it explains our stance on personal information, in regard to cookies, tracking, logging, data usage, contact information and any links to third parties.
Searche follows a strict no tracking privacy policy, and it's quite simple, we don't track our users.
Cookies
-
Unless explicitly agreed upon, Searche does not automatically set any cookies on your computer. Cookies are only placed by Searche when the user modifies the search engine settings.
Tracking and Logging Policy
-
Searche does not employ any form of targeted user tracking, either during the visit or afterwards through standard logs that Searche maintains. The logs retain information such as the time of visit, requested page, and possibly referral data. Browser information is stored separately. Instead of recording IP addresses, Searche replaces them with a simple two-letter code representing the visitor's country of origin. This method ensures that tracking or identifying individual users is eliminated. To monitor whether a campaign landing page visit leads to a Searche search request, we utilize a URL parameter. This parameter is visible in the URL and is not utilized beyond the initial search.
Data Usage
-
The remaining log data (country, time/date, page requested, referral data, and in a separate log browser data), which although now contains no identifiable data, would still in no situation whatsoever be sold or distributed to any third party vendors. This data is kept private for the sole purpose of storing historical traffic volumes and country demographics of our visitors. We may also use aggregate, non-personal search data to improve our results.
